My Short Getaway trip to Phuket :)

Day One:

At Terminal 2, having our lunch before our flight :) I don't really like inflight meals..so a good meal is a must to kick-start my holiday!!

I was still fair before this trip :(

Our Silk-Air flight to Phuket..It was only $6 more than budget flight :)

After an almost 2hrs flight..we reached sunny Patong. Took a meter taxi to our hotel that cost us 500bhat. Considered cheap..we expected ard 700-1000 according to some travel blogs.

THE KEE Resort and Spa.

It has the best location - Bangla Road (famous red light district) is juz 10 steps away!!

- Patong Beach is juz across the street

- Jungceylon Shopping Mall is juz a mere 5 mins walk

Best of all..though its sooo near to all touristy spots..its real quiet and cosy when you are in the hotel..thumbs up!!

This is the famous pub and tiger/pingpong shows aisle right beside our hotel.

On our first night we were quite surprise that all was quiet and dead on Bangla street..only to realise that

it was the Thai King's birthday..so strictly no sale of alcohol that day...that explains why all the pubs and clubs were closed..

Had our first dinner in Patong...@ Savoey Seafood Restaurant.
It is just like the famous Patong Seafood..but upon comparison..Savoey serves more authentic thai cuisine and most of the dishes are super spicy. Love the food there...:)

After the hot and spicy dinner..we took a stroll along the beach...
Had a try at the..what they call this?? Sky Lantern?? not sure but juz make a wish..release it into the sky and pray that your wish will come true..haa! 100bhat..

Light up the fireworks too!! A first-time for me and Tze! 25 shots of fireworks@500bhat!

The fireworks was really near and beeeauuutifull...I didn't manage to shot a nice pic of them..only the poops of it :(

After the beach...we just stroll aimlessly along Patong street and we came to Jungceylon..this is the place where you will get to see alot of Singaporeans!

Day 2:

Rise and shine early to the beautiful beach of Patong. Straight after breakkie, we went to the beach for sun-tanning.

How I love the colour of the sky..bliss!

Many said that Patong beach was dirty and too touristy...But I beg to differ..look..how nice!

Got ourselves 2 seats to enjoy the sunshine...these are the better..more comfy seats with towels provided..
150bhat each..if you want those plastic normal beach chair..they will cost you only 100bhat w/o towels..whole day

Yes..coconut again!!

If you are looking for sexy-looking babes..forget it...you only get to see these.....

Haa..you will have better luck with the babes around 5-7pm...the better looking ones are out by then...

He went for the Para-sailing..alone...yes without the para guide...

Was at the beach the whole morning till its time to fill our tum tum :)

At Jungceylon Mall

Went to the mall...the very much needed air-conditioned mall...
Had the Pork burger that we never get to eat in Singapore's Mac...Delish!!

Walk past a street hawker..just had to have a bowl..no matter how full I am :) Super Yummy!!

After lunch and lazing in our hotel room...its time to catch the sunset.
We chose to dine at the Sky Lounge in our hotel itself.

Day 3:

Day 3 was a super relaxing day...we have very much covered all the touristy spots on day 2..
so..this was the day for us to do whatever we like....again..

Had alot of coconut drink throughout the trip...coconut juice has the cooling effect that can fight against heatiness..sooo with all the feasting on spicy stuff..these will prevent fever and sore throat!
