C.H.A.R.Maine: Taipeinology Day 1:

This post will be inundated with tons and tons of pics :P !!!

Departed from Singapore Changi Airport T3 for our flight to Taipei..
Always choose the earliest flight if possible..so that you will have plenty of
shopping time...no time wasting!!

Goodbye Singapore!!

Oh ya..don't ever choose Seat 34 if you are taking SQ..
Its the only seats that's in between 2 windows..
which plainly means no windows at all...
Mistake on our part...aargh..

Don't fancy inflight meals...
had a bit of dim sum at T3 food court..

After 4hrs 15 mins, we reached Taipei..
We headed straight to the Shibuya of Taiwan - XiMenDing
as our hotel is located there :)

Too early for our hotel check-in..went to Ah Zhong Mian Xian
for a slurp..
Situated along a crowded lane in XMD..

Tips: Do add loads of mashed garlic and a tinge of Chilli oil
for the superb taste..

Finally our room is ready..

It may not be a fanciful hotel..but definitely at the best location
(So near to the MRT) 3 mins walk perhaps??
In the midst of XMD..
Most important..the interior is new and very very clean..

All snacks are free..replenish daily...

Love the cleanliness of it...

Headed to Shih Lin Nite Market for dinner and shopping..

What's the diff between S'pore Pasar Malam sausage and TW sausage??

Well, for TW sausage..they will slit open it...
add honey..garlic..coriander leaves or even black pepper sauce..
and the oil will spurt out!!
Tasty or not!!!

This 肉圆is super delicious ...

臭豆腐!!!
How smelly is it???
Hmm..how should i describe it...
its like 大便、厕所的味道咯..haha
after a bite..your mouth will have the poo-like smell..hee!!
But fret not..it will go off..
Remember to add chilli and garlic too!!
