The day my life changed....
After months of anticipation and 17 torturing hrs...
My lovely baby boy..little Troy arrived...
All along, I've been experiencing quite a smooth pregnancy...so..i was not prepared for a not so smooth labor...Looking back...the 17hrs of pain and fatigue...
well i must say....Baby Troy...you better be nice to
mummy in the future :)

9th Oct Fri : 7:00pm
Dr Han: Your fluid in the waterbag is decreasing...
and your weight decrease too..
Let's check your bb's heartbeat..
(was lying beside the CTG machine for half an hr)
Dr Han: Ok..bb seems fine..but u having mild contraction..
so how?? wanna give birth anot??
Me and Tze: Uh...okie ...
Dr Han: Ok..come back on Sunday...
no early Monday morning..2 am..induce..
Me: Ok..(still happily thinking that 2am..so early..
by 8am morning i sure can give birth)
12th Oct Monday:
2am: Nurse insert the inducing tablet into my body...
waited alone for 3 hrs..
4am: Start to experience contraction pain..
but still bearable...
5am: Transfer to my room for further monitoring on
CTG till Dr Han arrive
6am: CTG machine suddenly cannot detect my
bb's heartbeat...Everybody panic..sent to the
labour ward immediately!!
6:30am: Senior nurse came...monitor heartbeat
again...ok..false alarm..bb still okie..
6:30 till 9am: waiting and waiting...in pain
already...contraction every 5 min
9:15am: Finally Dr Han arrived....checked on me..
saying that the induced tablet has no effect
on me..must insert a 2nd tablet...if not..
be prepared for cesarean...Oh no!!!!
I don't want that!!!!
9:30 till 3pm: waited for another 6hrs to go by...
in great pain...cannot inject epidural yet
....I nearly died!!!
3pm: Dr Han came back to check..okie...think I can
deliver by evening! Inject Epidural..finally..
Now I'm having contraction every 1 min!
4pm: Now that I'm no longer in pain..(cos of the wonderful
epi)..I can watch telly and drink hot milo...
4:15pm: "Beep Beep Beep" suddenly my CTG machine
is making that funny sound again...a nurse came
in..and went out again to be back
with 4 other nurses and 2 doc...
everyone seems very concerned..and they put
on the oxygen mask for me and brought
in some weird machine..checking my BP
..etc etc...i was panic too..was i gg to die..
wat happen to my bb????
4:30pm: Turns out that after the epi..bb heartbeat
dropped..but after while..it all went
back to normal....
4:40 till 8:30pm: Juz waiting..but think my contraction
too serious that towards the end..
even with the epi..i can still feel
a slight pain...
8:45pm: Finally..Dr Han was back..for good....
okie..now we all can start...
Push Push!!!
8:47pm: Baby Troy Arrived!!!! Praise the LORD!!!
